Faster, Safer and Easier Way To Write CD, DVD

Although Windows 7 has integrated feature to burn CD/DVD but you may find it little difficult and time consuming. Moreover it doesn’t provides you all the features like creating audio, video,read disk,copy disk etc. Hence today we are going to tell you about a tool named Ink which is a highly efficient tool for burning CD/DVD.
Ink is integrated with plenty of options which would make your disc burning much simpler and pleasant. Although there are plenty of other disk burning software available over web but the things which make this tool the best among all is that it is faster, safer and easier to use than others and even its full version is free of cost.
When you run this tool, you will see the following main window.There are six different options available in the main window and they are Data Disc, Audio Disc, Video Disc, Write Image, Copy Disc and Read Disk.

Click on Data Disk if you want to create a CD/DVD with number of mix files i.e audio, video, documents, images etc. or even if you want to add folders and applications. For creating CD click on upper part where DATA is written and for creating DVD click on lower part where DISC is written. You will see a window as follow when you click on any option.

Now from the Explorer View select the drive where you data is located. On the right side of this column, you will see all the folders contained in that particular location. You will need to drag the desired files, folders or applications to the Disc Layout column to add those data for writing in disc. At the bottom of the screen, you can see a detailed bar representing the space acquired by data which you have added and amount of space left which is available.

After adding all the data, simply click on Burn option whose shortcut is given on top to write that particular data on the disc. Alternatively, you can even choose this option by clicking on Actions and then click on Burn to Disk. After that following window will open.

Now the first option is to select the drive. If you have installed more than one drive then use this option to change to that particular drive in which you have placed the blank disk else if you have only one drive, then it will show that drive only. Next option is Verify Disc. Click on this option if you want this tool to verify all the data once it complete burning the disk. This could take little time to verify data after writing.
Next is Write speed. You can set this option to Maximum i.e Maximum speed of which your disk driver is capable of writing or you can even choose a customized speed if you prefer slow writing of data. Now the next option is Write Method. This option will help you to customize that whether you want to finalize this disk i.e you want that no one can write on this disk again or you want to create a session disk so that you will be able to write again in the vacant space left.
Once you are done with all the setting click on Ok and then instantly the process of writing will start. You can see the status of burning from the status bar. Once writing complete it will give you an option to save the project. Click on this option if you want to create a same disk in future. After that it will automatically eject your disk from the drive.

Data disk allows you to add multiple type of files, but if you want to create an audio or a video disk, then click on Audio or Video option from the main menu. The CD/DVD writing steps for creating an audio or Video disk is same as explained above.
Write Image option allows you to directly burn the image file to the CD/DVD. Click on this option and then choose the location of desired image file and then instantly the process of burning will start. Copy Disk option allows you to copy the contents of one disc directly to another without saving any data on your hard drive. You can use this option only if you have two CD drives installed in your computer.

So in the source enter that drive in which you have placed the disk whose contents you want to write. And in the Target select that particular drive in which you have placed an Empty disc. Then customize the settings and click on Ok to start direct writing process. The last option available on main window is read disk. Click on this option if you want to save the image file of a disk on your system.
The size of this tool is 2.08 Mb and it will not take much time to get installed and as usual it will create a desktop shortcut which can be used to access this freeware. This tool is compatible with all the versions of Windows and has been tested successfully on Windows 7 Ultimate-32 bit edition.
